Rosa Parks TRIAC

Quotations should always be integrated fluidly. Locate 3 places where Duhigg includes quotations, noting the strategies he uses to integrate quotations into his sentences. Write a TRIAC paragraph that illustrates and analyzes 1 of the 3 places that Duhigg uses a quote.

A few quotes would be Duhigg talking about Rosa Parks on page 89, Another quote on page 97 when he is talking about christ and faith, lastly, another quote would be 91 when he is talking about political movements. Generally, what Duhigg is talking about is Civil Rights Movement, and Megachurches.

Everyone deserves to be treated equally, no matter the skin color or who you are, it is important to treat everyone with respect. Rosa Parks is a very important and influential black women. She stood up for herself when she was just very young. Rosa parks was sitting in front of the bus (where whites were supposed to sit), she stood her ground and stayed in the front of the bus. She ended up getting in trouble because blacks were suppose to sit in the back while whites sit in the front. She ended up going to jail. This shows that blacks and whites should be treated equally. Duhigg says “Rosa parks called her parents from the police station…” “Another negro women has been arrested and thrown into jail because she refused to get up out of her seat on the bus for a white person to sit down” Now since Rosa Parks did this, all the black people are not giving up their seats. white people were fascist to black people, and blacks didn’t get as much rights as the whites did. Everyone should be treated the same, and with respect, no matter your skin color or how you look, kindness goes a long way.
